<p>I also like the point that this doesn't necessarily make the feeling fake. I think love and attachment can exist at the same time. We can genuinely care about someone while also enjoying what they bring into our lives. The real test may come when circumstances change—when the attention reduces, the excitement fades, or the person can no longer meet our emotional needs. Do we still appreciate them, respect them, and genuinely want the best for them?</p>

Exactly. ❤️ I think that’s where the difference between genuine love and attachment becomes clearer. You can care about someone and still enjoy what they bring into your life, but when circumstances change, your actions reveal what truly matters. Love isn’t just about what someone gives you; it’s also about valuing who they are beyond what they provide.
