<p>The real problem of Africa can be seen in the dependency theory where the scholars keep on blaming the downfall of the African countries to colonisation,imperialism,slave trade and all to the West(Colonial masters). Meanwhile what should be looked upon is how to stop depending on these slave masters that still enslave us till date.........but no,corruption had been embedded in us to the extent that we think only money can solve the issues.</p>

I totally agree with you on that,money and material things has been the root Africa's problem even before we started to take note of it.....

Well, that's a smart perspective, and I agree that dependency theory explains part of Africa's past. However, my main point is different. I believe one of Africa's greatest problems today is that we've become too focused on money rather than value creation. We admire wealth more than innovation, productivity, education, and strong institutions. As long as people think money itself is the solution instead of what creates sustainable wealth, corruption and dependence will continue to slow our deve
