<p>This really made me think about how consent can look like a “yes” on the outside while the person doesn’t actually feel free to choose. Sometimes pressure doesn’t have to be loud; it can be the fear of losing someone, disappointing them, or what people will say.</p><p>I also love the part about marriage not meaning you surrender your boundaries. Loving someone deeply shouldn’t mean losing yourself in the process. Real love should leave room for safety, choice and dignity. This was beautifully written</p>
