What struck me is how we people are trained in what to avoid, but not in how to understand ourselves. Desire is a natural part of being human, and knowing our bodies does not diminish our spirituality. Instead, it enables us to better care for ourselves.

I think this is my best take or rather comment so far. Desire is a natural part of being human fr. Knowing our bodies truly do not diminish our spirituality.

Talking about knowing your body. This is another topic entirely. I feel religion has enclosed some people's mind towards having enlightment about their bodies. Especially their private parts. This is why some things happen and instead of going to the hospital for medical check ups, they result to prayers. Lol

This is a broad topic fr.
