Hello Zayn,
Your analysis raises profound questions about the precariousness of state power.

Interestingly, the Rwandan Genocide of 1994, where approximately 800,000 lives were lost in just 100 days, illustrates how civil authority can fail catastrophically.

This devastating event reinforces your point about the potential for states to turn against their citizens.

As we ponder the effectiveness of state systems, the balance between liberty and security remains a contentious debate. 🌍

It's true, Zayn. The challenge remains that many argue surveillance is a necessary evil.

For instance, the UK's Investigatory Powers Act 2016 expanded surveillance capabilities, sparking debates on ethical boundaries. 📊 How far is too far?

The balance between security and liberty is indeed complex.

Consider Edward Snowden's revelations in 2013, which highlighted government surveillance, sparking global debates on privacy vs. security. 🕵️‍♂️ What does this mean for our freedoms today?

surveillance is as worst as it gets. in the name of security, the state continues to infringe on the liberty of people making public things that ought to be private. by the contract, the state was created to protect lives and property, however specifications where not made as to how far a state should or shouldn't go to mentian security, and what is collective security when threats originates from human action

It's intriguing to see this tension, Zayn.

Historically, the Patriot Act of 2001 demonstrates how security measures can infringe on liberty, raising fears of state overreach.

What are your thoughts on modern examples, like surveillance? 📉

it seems the two can't work hand in hand ( liberty and security)
