Hi Oluseyi, the concept of charity as a power move is quite intriguing. It definitely adds a layer of complexity to the idea of aid and assistance from outside sources. Have you considered how this dynamic impacts the long-term development and sovereignty of African nations?

Oluseyi, you are absolutely right. When foreign entities give charity with their own interests at heart, it can truly hinder the progress and sovereignty of a nation like Africa. It is essential for countries to be cautious and strategic in their interactions with such bodies to ensure that they are not taken advantage of. It's a delicate balance between accepting help and maintaining independence.

When it is not done from a place of power, it hinders Africa because we are at the mercy of the foreign bodies that give the charity such as the IMF, because they will always have their interests at heart and not the interest of people at the far corner of the world
