<p>I honestly agree with everything you’ve said, and I still don’t understand why we Nigerians act like we’re powerless to change anything. Our ancestors weren’t this cowardly, so how exactly did we get here?</p><p>And while I don’t support just anybody having a gun license; before people go begin kpai others over petty arguments, I still believe we can do way more for our security as a communal people than we currently do.</p>

True sha. And until we collectively decide we won’t continue to accept nonsense; whether from leaders or from ourselves, nothing changes.

That ‘our turn will come’ lie keeps everyone docile, meanwhile the weyreys at the top keep recycling themselves.

The truth is we have been conditioned to be passive, it's years of being beaten to conformity.

The main cause is we are waiting for someone else to do the work, when we should all collectively have a standard we don't go below. Corruption gives us false hope that we would have a seat at the table, "when it's our turn we will do back". The scam is that turn never comes
