<p>Recently, a neighbour of mine told her niece she wasn’t smart cos she couldn’t do something correctly, and it immediately took me back to my own childhood. I was the kid who struggled the most with math, and I definitely didn’t have the confidence I have now. So hearing an adult call a child ‘dumb’ over one mistake really triggered me. Our adults back then really did a number on us, and unlearning that kind of behaviour and doing better as today’s adults won’t be easy.</p><p>Sending you ❤️&💡🥹</p>

You’re welcome. ❤️And Nigerians are still learning to understand there are different types of intelligence, as well as different ways in which people excel, even if they’re unique in the way they do. We’ll get there.

Deciding to criticize young minds just because of one incident breaks us a lot...we are a sensitive type of generation.. you can't collectively define my entire living all because you noticed a flaw in me🤌😭
