<p>😭 Omo that last line is painfully accurate</p><p>“a never-ending circle of familiar names and familiar stories” honestly summarizes the Nigerian political experience too well that the system doesn’t even hide the repetition anymore</p><p>Same names. Same promises. Same elections. Different year.</p><p>At some point, Nigeria stops feeling predictable politically and starts feeling symbolic</p><p>"Your vote doesn't count" is a feeling that the system already knows how the story ends before citizens even finish speaking</p>
