<p>This is simply branding, and everything about the brand MUST represent it and not go contrary.</p><p>So YES, the label should not just have a say, the label OWNS the say because that is the brand. And the fact that the artist want to work under a record label, means that you take the identity of the brand, convenient or not.</p><p>Except the appearance does not play a role in the branding, which is less likely, then the artist should do it however makes them feel like themselves</p><p>.</p><p>My two cents 😊</p>
