Somethings what we Nigerians call “connection” (mixing it up with favoritism) is actually “leverage.”

And this is why the importance of building and maintaining quality relationships cannot be overemphasized.

We can call it what we like, but it is what it is❕

Both in and out of Nigeria.

Okay!

I get the point you are coming from now, yes.

It’s an issue when this “leverage” is used wrongly, prioritizing a person who is not qualified over one who perfectly fits.

You’re right.

Thank you so much for this clarity.

I watched a video last week that,

Talks about Natural unfair life advantage

And Acquired unfair life advantage

All being, being able to make use of the advantages you are giving and projecting in a way it propels you towards prosperity.

Now those leverages aren't given to the worthy anymore, it's just beingthrown around as a marginalized commodity

Headlining the fact that the society is being rigged against the young and those advantages are no more guaranteed in this times, in this country.
