<p>That last line is the one.</p><p>“Never in the same way that I used to.”</p><p>Often times, healing is not forgetting that you loved someone.. it is accepting that whatever brings them back cannot bring back the version of you that loved them so freely.</p><p>And I like that there’s no bitterness here. Just that quiet “I loved you, it ended, and I have to choose myself now.”</p>
