<p>The childhood memories, the compound, wet sand turning into imaginary food, dusty feet, the endless chores, and especially Maami whose eyes apparently had CCTV coverage before CCTV was a thing. 😭😂</p><p>The humour made me smile, but slowly, quietly, the piece became something much deeper.🫂</p>
