<p>This is such an important truth to hold with both hands.</p><p>Sometimes our parents genuinely love us and are doing the best they know how to do. They want us to become better, stronger, more prepared for life, and in trying to achieve that, they may unknowingly leave wounds behind.</p><p>Their intentions may have been love, but that doesn't automatically erase the pain their actions caused. Both things can be true at the same time: they loved us, and they hurt us. 🤍</p>
