<p>Consent really needs to be understood beyond just hearing the word “yes.”</p><p>A wife doesn't owe her husband access to her body SIMPLY BECAUSE they are married.</p><p>If she says it hurts, stop. If she says she isn't ready, stop. If she changes her mind halfway through, stop.</p><p>Marriage does not cancel consent.</p><p>And I think the most disturbing part is how easily pressure gets dressed up as love or marital duty.🤦‍♀️</p>
