<p>What really stood out to me, though, is Wale’s questioning of war:</p><p>“Because we are different, so we must battle?”</p><p>It quietly reveals his character beyond the warrior. He notices beauty, questions violence, cares about his people, and somehow that makes his situation with Titi even more dangerous.</p><p>The letters made me root for them, the ending made me afraid to root for them. 😭</p><p>That is such a good storytelling!!!</p>
