<p>“I forgave people who never once apologized” . I used to think forgiveness without acknowledgment made me strong, but all it did was teach people they could hurt me without consequence. Reading your words felt like looking into a mirror I know what it’s like to pour out kindness until you’re empty, only to realize that the same people you carried would never carry you back.</p>
