Addendum 4:<br><br>Another way that powerful politicians influence news is by physically assaulting or jailing journalists and raiding media houses.<br><br>This present government have been the worst at these in our 4th Republic.<br><br>The result is a press that is afraid to go against the official narratives, and which has to criticise softly in order to not be accused of using "hate speech". This is why social media is crucial for us today.
