Some cosmic force is at play right now...

So I'm up watching Season 1 Episode 5 of The Jackal...and there's a part where someone mentions Rodin's famous sculpture ..."The Thinker"...

...and just a few seconds later, I'm scrolling down my feed on TwoCents and I notice that the cover photo you used for this insight is...Rodin's "The Thinker" ...

As if that's not weird and coincidental enough....I've been "thinking" about what I want to comment on this post...

It's all so...

The main purpose of this post is to let women know what men face

I've talked to some girls who believe men don't go through anything at all. I just wanted to point out that both men and women go through stuff

Exactly

Men should be stoic but not at the expense of their mental health. They don't have to cry or ball their eyes out. No, not that but they should pay a little attention to how they feel sometimes. Even if it's a one time thing

I think it's okay to talk about things and have "unburdening" and therapeutic conversations...

But at the same time, men should suck it up - it's okay to keep some things in and to "suffer".

A healthy dose of "suffering" helps mould us and toughen us up.

We are men, we embrace this.

So really it's about striking a balance between stoicism and "the other stuff". Lol.

You don't have a bad post on TwoCents @faye .

Good stuff.

...meta and pleasantly eerie.

..Like the universe is trying to tell me something.

Anyway, about your post.. Lol.

I think men should pay attention to their mental health and talk things out whenever they need to...

But I really don't think men should be overly emotional...crying and spilling their feelings everywhere...

You very aptly tagged this post with "stoicism" and I do believe men should be stoic...but not at the expense of their mental health and stability...
