<p>On the other thread, you rightly said that Netflix made a mess of Jane Austen’s Persuasion…but what they won’t make a mess of, is turning this piece into a hit movie…</p><p>It’s so clear in my mind’s eye. It’ll be fast-paced, comedic, yet serious…the casting will be great, and that funeral scene, will be perfectly directed. I can imagine what her mom would look like.</p><p>This is really good 💯</p><p>The Yoruba in the title and body, the cover photo, the specificity with the food, names, references etc…</p>
