<p>You mentioned a couple of things so I'd drop comments on each one as I remember...</p><p>About the near-extinction of logical thinking, well, the world is clearly rife with it, and it's getting more popular.</p><p>Liberalism is partly to blame, particularly in countries that wield the most "soft power" and influence thinking and culture through film, movies, online content etc.</p><p>What's really scary is how easy it is for people to completely abandon logic and stew in irrationality...</p>

Well, if I think along spiritual and biblical lines, everything bad will probably get worse.

On a more mundane level, I think there's a good number of people that will remain sane and preserve sanity ....the key is probably to keep that number static, if we can't grow it..

..because irrationality, especially in the liberal parts of the world, will keep gathering momentum.

Talking America specifically, political shenanigans aside. the GOP and Trump are helping to salvage rational thinking...

I definitely agree with this line of thought. Thing is, the onus of getting back to logical over irrational seems to lie on us but at the same time, can we really get back there?
