<p>This took my mind on a trip.</p><p>2014. Ikere, Ekiti State.</p><p>I had redeployed there after camp in Kaduna. I never really stayed, I was a proper "ghost corper".</p><p>However, one month, I had to be around due to the handover etc. And it happened to be election period in Ekiti.</p><p>One random afternoon, I saw a truck driving into Ikere, playing loud music and people inside it..were throwing wads of cash, satchets of tomato paste, and sacks of rice to market women who seemed overjoyed as they...</p>

The way they just see us like anything we give them they still collect it naww😮‍💨
