Absolutely. Step by step, and eventually you'd figure it out and everything will fall into place.

Just BTW, many economists I know work or have worked at the multinational consulting & auditing firms...McKinsey, KPMG etc...the so called Big-Four.

So when it's that time, you may want to look at some of those companies.

But you never know, God may just have something special in the works for you that you're not even considering at the moment..

Where I would like to work after school? I think that depends right? On the future of this country, on our future leaders, on how things go. But if I'm gonna be honest with you, the question I really want to ask is where can an economics work? I don't think I know. I don't think I've even thought about it much. I just want to get through the four years first. I think that's what's important right now.

Ahh, Writing. I see.

Sometimes I can be obsessive and super nit-picky about stuff I wrote even days ago...I'll reread it just to be sure there were no typos and stuff.

What year are you in? And where would you like to work after school?

If I had a real choice, I'll go into writing. Any and every type of writing. Screen writing, novel writing, poetry. I would have like to go into it professionally because it is what I love, it is where my passion lies.

But you know, we live in a country where we don't work because we love it, but because we have to. I had to push my passion aside.

Thank you. Believe it or not, I reread anything I write before I send it. I believe the way a person writes, talks says a lot about the person.

That's nice that you like to read and study - those habits always pay off in the end, whether in an academic or professional setting.

I like how your comments contain good grammar etc....many people rush through commenting and end up with tons of typos and grammatical errors.

I like it. I'm good at it. Plus I've always been the kind of person who likes to read and economics looked like the best course for my type of person.

But honestly, if I had a real choice, I won't study economics. It's a great course but it's not really what I wanted. It was a second option.

Also I feel like there's an expectation for how studying economics will be until we actually study it. Undergraduate studies in Economics is not easy then doing Masters in economics, that's bold.

A few years ago, I heard some Master's students say exactly that....they kept on complaining about the difference between what they thought doing an MS in Economics would be and what it actually turned out to be...

Looking at it as someone with an Engineering background, I never thought it was that challenging....

Why'd you decide to study it though? Like what attracted you to Economics? 

It's fire until you actually study it 😅
