I was patiently waiting to hear you mention the lack of necessary amenities and basic infrastructures like stable power supply and high internet speed. These factors are the major setback for embracing remote work in Nigeria.

But the discipline is also a BIG TIME PLAYER to be honest...

Nice one. I love this topic.

Ahhh! Discipline is a YOU and YOU ONLY thing. No one can install discipline in you, they can only encourage and show you guidelines of how to discipline yourself.

Discipline requires deliberate action. You can teach Discipline bit you can't force me to make that deliberate action.

Distractions dey everywhere sef, how person wan take concentrate for this country. 🤣

It's a lovely topic. We need more topics like this

Exactly. Light and bad internet are the major wahala but if Nigeria gave us 24/7 power and lightning-fast internet today, would Nigerians suddenly thrive at remote work? I doubt it. Discipline is the real hidden enemy. A lot of people want the perks of remote work but not the actual grind. So let me throw this back to you, is building discipline for remote work something we can all learn, or is it just a Nigerian problem? Thanks for listening and joining this conversation. It means a lot.
