I once heard a sermon where the preacher said for every time we use the words "I Am" negatively about ourselves , we are indirectly insulting God - 'Cos we are made in His image and He is the "I AM".

The sermon made a lot of sense to me....

So rather than say "I Am Poor...." - because God cannot be poor.... Leta say i am rich....

Makes sense right?

Speaking positively about oneself helps motivate one towards achieving the proclamation.

'I am' in this write up doesn’t mean affirming negativity upon yourself or claiming it, it simply means you should know everything has it time and season. Everyone faces some certain distress and it’s inevitable. "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance" glory in this statement means that we can take pride in suffering- not because suffering is good itself, but because of what it produces.

So, I hope you understand my perspective
