<p>Work has always had a way of keeping me away from my Family. So while reading this I was just laughing cos I was reading about myself....If only you know how many family functions I've missed...</p><p>But then, the message in this insight is very valid. People look at me like it's intentional I miss these functions, but they don't consider my me who missed them.</p><p>Good one Bolu</p>

That part “they don’t consider me who missed them” that’s real.

Because from the outside, it can look like a choice you made easily… but they don’t see what it cost you to not be there.

I’m glad it resonated with you. It’s one of those things that’s more common than we admit, but rarely spoken about this honestly
