<p>Omo, so many different lines here actually hit so different.</p><p>What choice can one even make?</p><p>It'd have been an easy "oh, he'll eventually understand why you had to choose what pays more in the long run", but something really bothers me ...</p><p>"Some promotions don’t come with a new title.</p><p>They come with people learning how to live without you."</p><p>This statement sent literal chills down my spine...</p><p>But one thing I've learnt is that there's always that balance and lots of ways to turn up for people.</p>

I like how you didn’t rush to pick a side, you actually sat with it.

That line disturbed me while writing it too… because it’s quiet, but very real.

And you’re right, balance exists.

The real question is catching it early enough before people adjust to your absence without saying it.
