<p>I'm so proud of you for being brave enough to accept and admit that you are tired.</p><p>Growing up in an African household can be overwhelming in so many ways. It's one thing to try to have an honest conversation about it, and it's another thing to actually be heard without getting emotionally sidelined.</p><p>It's tiring. One minute you want to come back home to see people who mean the world to you, and the next you're left questioning that decision.</p>
