<p>To some point, I agree with you on this but not totally</p><p>I'll explain with an example</p><p>If a child steals, you catch that child and beat him up</p><p>The next time the child tries to steal, the child remembers the previous punishment and doesn't attempt stealing again</p><p>Another case, a child tries to steal you take the child to a therapist to help the child the child gets back from therapy and goes into stealing again</p><p>I understand the place of the root cause but sometimes you can jam back....</p>
