<p>As someone that loves languages, I can relate so much to this😭</p><p>My parents are multilingual too</p><p>And growing up I learnt just English at school, my mom never really bothered to teach us Yoruba or my dad's language</p><p>When I traveled to my dad's side for school, I could hardly even understand the language not talk of speaking it and it really saddens me.</p><p>I even tried learning it but the people I was around were lagosian like me coupled with whole load of things I was involved in. I never got time...</p>
