<p>The most big-picture entry I've come across and definitely the most perspective altering. The crisis is not in the existence of characters that exist merely for entertainment. The crisis is the replacement of admiration with inspiration. Everyone now wants to be the clown because the clown is rewarded with more than applause and praise. He is now offered mountains of gold. That makes the clown alluring as a new ideal and other roles suffer as a result. Brilliantly deconstructed!</p>
