<p>I've always been an advocate for personal problems to be handled by same gendered doctors. I had this conversation with a couple of people I know that are either doctors or med students and some of them were of the opinion that it didn't matter. What I particularly found interesting was a comment a female med students made. She said a lot of female medical students run away from obstetrics and gynecology for some reason. Apparently it's very stressful. Her words not mine</p>
