<p>Takes me back to the days I battled alopecia. The ailment itself was only half the battle. The true battle was facing people and their snide remarks and taunts and name-calling. Worst of all was pity. Oh how I hated being pitied. I guess my Mom must have gotten tired of me crying every day so she made me go bald. Better no hair than missing hair I guess.</p><p>The feeling was hell. Always being looked at. Being judged and worst of all... Judging myself.</p>
