<p>The thing about being acutely over-conscious is just that... It makes one into a walking contradiction. You say something mean and mean something you say and five minutes later you're not so sure where you meant it. Thoughts swarm around your head ceaseless, whispering doubt after doubt. You become unsure even of things you were sure if seconds ago. Certain one minute, doubtful the next, blunt one minute, apologetic the next.</p><p>This is all too familiar. It was a long read but worthwhile!</p>
