<p>This made me remember psalms 51 vs 17 that says "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise".</p><p>The first step is one acknowledging they have strayed and then come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy.</p>
