Not quite.
There's a theory that the relationship you have when you turn 19 is your first real relationship that makes or breaks you.
This piece is about being scared of the uncertainty that that boy I meet at 19 will break me rather than make me. And also about the fact that that paranoia may lead to self-sabotage.
It's all about uncertainty, fear of the unknown and indecisiveness of what to do.
