<p>2/2</p><p>…and it’s called a festival?!</p><p>There’s no dressing that up. There’s no PR spin that makes this other than what it is: organized violence against women, wrapped in a thin veil of tradition.</p><p>What breaks me the most is the twisted logic of it. “We warned them not to go out.” As if the crime was existing in public. As if their presence was an invitation.</p><p>Meanwhile, the men and free to roam, to form crowds, to plan, to execute. That tells you everything about who this festival was really for.</p>
