<p>This really resonated with me. The way you describe that split-second before/after feeling…especially how the world stays ordinary while you’re falling apart inside is so painfully accurate.</p><p>I love how you didn’t rush to “heal” or wrap it up with easy hope.</p><p>Thank you for writing something that doesn’t pretend that grief is loud or tidy, but also doesn’t leave me as someone reading your work hopeless.</p><p>That quiet step at a time is so true.</p><p>Beautiful piece!</p>
