<p>Labubu is literally the best example for this. It was a cheap toy someone online made look special, so people paid way too much for it. Then a few weeks later, everybody forgot about it.</p><p>That’s what social media does. It makes things popular fast, but they don’t last. Social media also makes it hard to think for yourself because you just follow whatever is trending.</p><p>Books are different. They take years to write, but they change how you think for a very long time.</p><p>Really good piece!</p>
