<p>“People are watching”</p><p>“Be an example to other people”</p><p>“Be careful how you act because you don’t know who is looking at you”</p><p>These are sentences my parents say that genuinely used to piss me off. I didn’t understand why I had to act a certain way or conform to certain rules just because people are watching.
