It took me sometime to figure out what to say because this piece has so much depth.What struck me that most was your restraint. You had every opportunity to fill that silence with comfort, with clichés, with something that would’ve made you feel like you were helping him— but you chose not to.I think that takes more courage than actually speaking.Oh, and I read a piece here on Twocents about death.
