<p>I can relate to this to some extent. The course I’m studying in school right now isn’t the one I applied for. I didn’t get it not because I didn’t merit it but because the Nigerian educational system happened to me. I think that was the first time I actually understood the statement, “we don’t always get what we want.”</p><p>I was hurt and angry. To be honest, I didn’t want the course I applied for either.
