<p>This hit me so hard.</p><p>That line about your mother seeing clouds and your dad seeing oil really made me think deeply. We spend our whole lives trying to figure out what we are, but really, we’re just whatever people “perceive” us to be.</p><p>And then your lover seeing magenta?</p><p>That’s really what love is, isn’t it? It’s when someone else sees something in you that no one else sees.</p><p>I keep coming back to the black and white part. Everyone talks about identity like there’s a palette you just….</p>
