<p>Urghhh</p><p>I hate that sentence so much. “I can relate.” In that instant, I start to regret even opening up to the person at all.</p><p>The statement is always followed with their own experiences of it. Oh pleaseeee</p><p>You don’t have to overshadow someone’s pain with your own “example” of it.</p><p>Sometimes, people just want someone to listen not give a lecture for goodness sake.</p>
