<p>“Is this a talent crisis, or a compensation crisis dressed up as a talent crisis?” That’s the question for me.</p><p>I think both sides deserve scrutiny. Yes, there are graduates who genuinely need stronger practical and industry-ready skills, but saying there is no talent while thousands are applying for a handful of opportunities clearly deserves more context. If 9,000 people are competing for 20 slots, the conversation cannot simply end at “Nigerian graduates are unemployable.”</p>
