<p>Back then when I was in a boarding school I called my dad with a teachers phone then he went ahead and asked me "how are you" then I told him I was not fine he got really angry and started scolding me ,the said why will I say something like that don't I know there's power in the tongue.lol 😂 me that was really not fine ,my condition became worse because he was used to the normal response and then he is a Nigeria parent an extremist for that matter😅.I didn't even tell him what was wrong again.</p>

I understand how hard that must've been for you.

We really need to trash the mentality that " fine " is the standard reply and any other thing is unacceptable, we also shouldn't ask out of mere habit but with intentionality.
