<p>The closing, "So tonight I will try to sleep, and You, Ba'ami, please stay awake," is such a quietly heartbreaking way to end. It's not a demand or even really a plea, it's just a tired child asking for someone, anyone, to keep watch while they finally rest. Beautifully written and deeply affecting.</p>
