<p>The bread and beans / beans and bread refrain running through both Ibitoye's and Dolapo's storylines is such a clever structural choice, tying father and daughter together across generations without ever stating it outright. It quietly shows how much has and hasn't changed between them without needing a single line of exposition</p>
