<p>That was one of my favorite poem back then in secondary school but just like you; I realize I might have not gotten the whole essence of the poem but one thing I remember vividly was how Senghor appreciated and analyzed every beautiful part of black and even relate it with African as a whole. I love his works so much and I guess I’ll have to reread the poem again to feel it the more. A very nice review</p>
