<p>I think it also needs to be looked at that love in its traditional sense that we grew to learn from the older generation is not what we have now. What we have now is a generation that lacks confidence in general and can therefore easily retreat back to their shells behind their screens</p>

Because the screen time is more time these days more than physical presence..there's just something that makes communication better when when the person is right there in your face and not behind a device...this new evolution of communication despite it's efficiency has dropped the confidence level and self esteem of people.. you may find this hard to believe but there are people who can't even lock eyes with you when talking today.
